Urban Enrichment Institute Announces the Appointment of New Board Members

The Urban Enrichment Institute (UEI) appoints four new board members including a new board secretary and treasurer.

HOUSTON, March 7, 2023. The Urban Enrichment Institute announced the appointment of four new members to the organization’s board of directors and changes to board roles.

Cheri Green, Vice President – Community Manager at JP Morgan Chase Bank has been appointed new board Secretary. Cheri is committed to making an impact in the lives of future professionals and entrepreneurs.

Megan Cain, a Senior Enterprise Technology Solutions Manager – Practice Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers, has joined the board as Treasurer.

The UEI selection committee is also excited to welcome to the Board, Alberto Antenangeli and Rance Rutherford. Mr. Antenangeli is a Principal Architect at Nuvalence.io, a next-generation consulting firm that specializes in digital platform and product development. Mr. Rutherford is an Oracle Risk & Regulatory Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He states, “I have been fortunate enough to have great mentors throughout my life and UEI provides me the opportunity to give back to eager young men in a local Houston community.”

The new appointments follow other recent changes to the UEI Board of Directors. In January 2023, the organization announced that Tolu Opeloye, President and CEO of Amazon Health Services was named the new Chairman of the Board, while John DeBerry, VP of Private Banking at Frost Bank was made Vice Chairman.
